Simon Sinek
Simon Sinek is a renowned thought leader, motivational speaker, and author best known for his concepts on leadership, organizational culture, and personal growth. He gained widespread recognition with his 2009 TED Talk, “How Great Leaders Inspire Action,” which introduced the concept of the “Golden Circle.”
This model emphasizes that successful individuals and organizations start by focusing on “why” they do what they do, rather than just the “what” or “how.” Sinek believes that purpose-driven leadership fosters loyalty, innovation, and sustainable success.
Sinek’s influential book Start with Why expanded on this idea, arguing that visionary leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. and Steve Jobs inspired others by clearly articulating their purpose and values. His follow-up work, Leaders Eat Last, delves into the psychology and biology of leadership, highlighting the importance of trust and empathy in creating successful and resilient teams.
Sinek often contrasts leaders who prioritize short-term gains with those who foster a long-term vision centered on people and relationships.
With a focus on servant leadership, emotional intelligence, and fostering strong corporate cultures, Sinek has advised numerous organizations, from Fortune 500 companies to the U.S. military. His ideas have resonated with a global audience, particularly in the realms of business and personal development.
Known for his engaging speaking style and clear, actionable insights, Simon Sinek continues to inspire individuals to rethink leadership, encouraging them to prioritize purpose and people above all else. Read More

Karl Burkart
Humanity is facing two existential crises – climate change and the catastrophic loss of natural ecosystems. These crises could undermine the stability of our global economic system, but they can be reversed if we are able to triple financial flows to approximately $5 trillion per year, channeled to companies and governments working towards the creation of a nature-positive future for all.
As co-founder of One Earth, Karl has been on a mission to get cutting-edge science into the hands of financial decision-makers to accelerate this transition. Previously at the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation where he led the Science & Technology program, Karl discovered a major gap in “actionable science” specifically designed to inform the allocation of capital across numerous sectors, including energy transition, nature conservation, and regenerative agriculture.
Since then, One Earth’s award-winning Science & Strategic Impact program has led or supported the release of over 40 peer-reviewed and technical research papers. This includes the One Earth Climate Model, which offers an advanced energy transition scenario to achieve the 1.5°C goal of the Paris Climate Agreement.
One Earth has put this research into the hands of funders and governments to inform the allocation of more than $1 billion in capital through a set of online tools. These tools include the One Earth Solutions Framework, which indexes the level of private capital invested in each of 77 major solutions pathways, and the Global Safety Net, the world’s first blueprint for saving biodiversity and stabilizing our global climate system.

Patrick Thibaudeau
Patrick Thibaudeau is an innovative force in the field of sustainability, who helps next-generation leaders master their future mindset so they can do their undoable.
Thibaudeau is known for saying, “We must end the Syrup Syndrome. Too often plans are conceived, and then sustainability is poured on after the fact, like syrup poured onto a stack of pancakes. We need to mix sustainability criteria into our plans as essential ingredients from the beginning – a new default way of thinking – and ‘start at zero,’ making a positive impact.” He has amassed more than 30 sustainability firsts that show how to implement this innovative mindset.
Patrick is fearless; driven to explore and discover. That drive led to Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center MAC Lodge, a first in the world full Living Building Challenge Certification for a renovation project.
“This accomplishment would not have been possible without Patrick’s gentle tenacity, being constantly steadfast in his commitment to find a pathway to success.” Pete Smerud, Executive Director, Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center.
Thibaudeau’s voice has reached a vast global audience. He frequently shares his insights as a speaker, coach, mentor, and prolific author. He inspires the next generation of emerging leaders and established companies alike.
Thibaudeau has achieved “the most impressive and successful behavior change initiative related to sustainability that I’ve seen.”, according to Barbra BatShalom, Executive Director, Sustainable Performance Institute, CEO, BuildingEase.
Patrick Thibaudeau embodies the spirit of innovation, inspires change, and drives invention. His vision is: “Building an idea with a powerful transformative impact, leaving a lasting legacy on the way we live, learn, and work!”
